Mathematics – Calculation about density, volume and dimensions. The usage of differentiation and integration.

科學：船如何能浮？
科技： 如何設計和建造一艘船？
機械：如何利用遙控轉化為所需的動向？
數學：計算密度、容量、大小，及微積份概念

Objectives:
To build 1ft remote control sailboats, and learn the history of boats, floating theories, aerodynamics of the sails, and electronics of the remote controls. Students will need to try-an-error, and solve the problem arisen.

Duration:
4 sessions (4 hours) of lessons
1 day of sailing taster (separated into 2 times)

Location:
School, and Sai Kung sea

Capacity:
20 pax (including teachers)

計劃目的:
本計劃為同學提供另類的學習體驗，以體驗式學習為教學模式，讓學生親手製作模型帆船及帶領學習進行帆船體驗旅程，用帆船這個媒介改善學生學習的態度及提昇學生的自我效能感。計劃中，學生能夠把學術知識應用在實際的層面上，讓他們發現書本上的知識為有價值，從而重新提起學習興趣，並從中建立自信、責任感、團隊合作、及溝通的能力。

計劃內容 :

• 4節非『帆』學堂課程    (每節 4 小時)                                    
• 2次非『帆』體驗旅程 [每次旅程名額為10位，20位學生，共2次]

計劃時間表：
1)    非『帆』學堂 [4節] ：非『帆』學堂於校內進行，透過親手製作小型帆船的活動，讓學生從中學習並活用與數理、設計及科技的學科智識，活動中也會提及帆船和航海歷史，提昇同學對不同學科的學習動機。
2)   非『帆』體驗旅程 [2次旅程]：非『帆』體驗旅程於西貢海域進行，透過海上旅程讓學生體驗掌舵，與學生探討前路方向及生涯規劃的課題；經歷團隊協作提昇同學的溝通、解難及領導能力；引發學生對帆船或相關學科的學習動機及興趣。
